About the event
Bunny Carnahan is a plein air painter based in Northern Nevada. Working mainly in oil, she captures the color, texture, and emotion of the landscapes around Truckee, Lake Tahoe, and the Comstock region.
Her style, abstract realism, reflects both what she sees and what she feels in the moment—balancing accuracy with expressive brushwork and light. Painting outdoors allows her to connect deeply with the quiet beauty of the Sierras and share that sense of peace through her art.
